ABOUT
Victory Arts
Foundation
Victory Arts Foundation’s roots trace back to November 2001, when Shiamak Davar’s Institute for the Performing Arts (SDIPA) partnered with Committed Communities Development Trust (CCDT) to create Dancing Feat (DF), a project funded by Family Health International (FHI) and United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The initiative aimed to empower high-risk, vulnerable children by helping them develop resilience against the challenges posed by HIV/AIDS through an innovative, child-friendly approach. This program uniquely integrated popular dance forms with group counselling and life skills education to build awareness and emotional strength among young participants.
In March 2004, Victory Arts Foundation was established and registered as a not-for-profit organisation (NGO) with a broader mission: to share the transformative joy of dance with people from all walks of life, free from discrimination. Today, Victory Arts Foundation has expanded its reach to empower thousands of individuals, including those with special needs, across India, Canada, and the United Kingdom, continuing to foster inclusivity, resilience, and joy through the art of dance.
OUR
Vision &
Mission
Victory Arts Foundation envisions a world where dance is accessible to all, transcending barriers of gender, caste, class, and ability. Through its initiatives, it aims to heal and empower individuals while establishing dance as a viable and respected career option. The foundation provides a platform to address pressing social causes and concerns, using the art of dance to foster inclusivity and positive change.
“To ensure that everyone experiences and shares the transformative power of dance and the performing arts, and its ability to inspire positive change in the world.”
