About
Victory Arts Foundation
Victory’s roots trace back to November 2001, when Shiamak Davar’s Institute for the Performing Arts (SDIPA, now SDI) partnered with Committed Communities Development Trust (CCDT) to create Dancing Feat (DF), a project funded by Family Health International (FHI) and United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The initiative aimed to empower high-risk, vulnerable children by helping them develop resilience against the challenges posed by HIV/AIDS through an innovative, child-friendly approach. This program uniquely integrated popular dance forms with group counselling and life skills education to build awareness and emotional strength among young participants.
